It’s no secret that the iPhone is way ahead of Android when it comes to raw performance. Apple’s current lineup of A14 Bionic-powered devices all top the speed list, with stats released by Geekbench showing how far the iPhone 12 is ahead of its competitors.
Recent benchmark results show that nothing comes close to Apple’s chips, with the iPhone 12 Pro Max achieving a multi-core score of 3936 – that’s compared to 3100 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
If that wasn’t bad enough, things could get worse for Android as a new rumor has it that the upcoming iPhone 13 will be even more powerful than anything we’ve seen before.
An unconfirmed leak recently posted on Twitter says Apple’s next processor – supposedly called the A15 Bionic – could be around 13 percent faster than the iPhone 13’s current brains.

Statistics posted on social media also suggest that it will be significantly more powerful than the new chip called Exynos 2200, which is being made by Samsung for its future devices.
If so, it could mean Apple once again staying in pole position when it comes to devices with the most oomph.
Of course, these values should be treated with caution as it is unclear how the tests were carried out and whether things will change if real comparisons are made in the future.
One thing we do know is that it won’t be long waiting for Apple’s next release.
The Californian technology company has just sent out invitations to the world’s media for its next event. It takes place on Tuesday, September 14th, and it could be when the latest and greatest iPhone 13 is shown to the world.
The invitation is “California Streaming. Join us for a special event broadcast from Apple Park.”
There’s no word on what new features this latest line of phones will bring, but rumors suggest that the biggest upgrade could be the new screen. Apple switched the standard iPhone to OLED technology last year and faster frame rates could be the goal in 2021. In fact, most experts believe that the iPhone 13 Pro models will include fast 120 Hz technology.
Other extras could include better charging via Apple’s MagSafe technology along with that faster A15 processor and an improved camera that could deliver crisp images at night.
