Write to Change the World! – Women’s eNews

In honor of Women’s History Month, and in honor of the importance of women’s voices in the media, Women’s eNews is proud to partner with The OpEd Project to offer members of the Women’s eNews community a $100 credit code to join The OpEd Project’s globally-recognized “Write to Change the World” workshop (description below). Sign up for any upcoming workshop on The OpEd Project’s website (there are 10+ date options through June 2025), using the code WOMENSENEWS2025. The code will be valid for the entire month of March. In addition, for those who would benefit from a full scholarship ($395-$495 value), Women’s eNews is able to nominate three full and/or partial scholarships. If you would benefit from a scholarship, please reach out to Women’s eNews Executive Director Lori Sokol at lori@womensenews.org.

Write To Change The World
The OpEd Project’s “Write To Change The World” workshop is a discovery-based interrogation of authority and knowledge. It walks participants through a method for changing hearts and minds, addressing opposition and building consensus, and thinking bigger. It connects them to a network of journalist mentors, and results in them publishing op-eds (if they wish). It also provides valuable tools for anyone seeking to build a case for something new (new book, new research, new job, new business, new policy, etc). It is open to the public, 100% virtual, and typically takes place over two half-days. All those who complete the workshop will receive one month of follow-up support.
