Watch Tate McRae’s 10-Minute Beauty Routine for Glowy Skin & Glittery Eyes | 10 Minute Beauty Routine

Hey Allure, it’s Tate McRae here

and this is my 10 minute beauty routine.

Today I am gonna be doing a pretty natural, glowy,

sparkly eye situation.

It’s pretty much the only look I got down pat.

So we are going to attempt today, hopefully it goes well.

The first project I’m gonna use

is Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel.

And I actually have been seeing this

all over the internet recently where people take moisturizer

and they mix it with their foundation.

So I started trying it and it’s been so great.

Usually if you just don’t want your foundation too heavy,

which I hate it so much when it’s too heavy,

I like to just mix them together.

I’m using Clinique Even Better

Clinical Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum.

So it’s a sunscreen too.

So I’m gonna mix these together

and just kind of go lightly across my face.

Usually I go very natural on the foundation.

I don’t like to do too much,

especially because when I get on stage usually,

or go throughout my day, I am doing a lot,

usually being really active, dancing, working out.

So I like to not clog my skin.

Okay, after I’ve kind of mixed that in

and really blended it out, that’s when I go in

with an eyebrow gel and I just keep it very simple.

This is the Brow Fix Clear Brow Gel from Charlotte Tilbury.

I’m going to just brush up

and my makeup artist holds it down,

so I think it stays more.

There we go, and just brush them up.

Okay, from here I’m gonna take a concealer,

the Clinique All Over Concealer

and let’s hope that doesn’t spread bad,

but I’ll usually just go in

and blend underneath my eyes.

I know that a lot of people hate beauty blenders.

I use beauty blenders for everything.

I think it’s so much easier than brushes.

And I also, usually when I’m on tour,

do my makeup so fast, like so fast

that I need to just blend quick and get it done quick.

I’m doing like an event, like an award show,

I usually have Lily Keys, who’s my makeup artist.

She does my makeup and she’s incredible.

But I usually just keep it pretty simple

with like a winged eyeliner, sparkles, bronzed.

Just like my basic, like what I would do

for like old competition dance kind of.

I’m gonna go in with the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer.

This is one of my favorites, but it’s so pretty pigmented.

So I’m gonna just go in

like this and kind of blend all over.

Okay, that should be good enough.

I take this brush.

This is a good brush to shape your nose.

Contour your nose too.

I’m still working on this so no one judge me,

but go like that.

And you do a little triangle,

I think that’s what you’re supposed to do.

You should do a little triangle at the front of your nose

and then you go down.

So it like creates like a shadow

and then kind of contour that out.

And then I like to do a little line right here.

It looks crazy, and then I do two little like this

and like a little line like that.

And that is kind of all I do for my nose contour,

but my makeup artist does it much better than I do.

And then I’ll go in with a blush.

Okay, so I’m applying the Bare Minerals Kiss of Pink blush

and I kind of like to do this across my nose, on my cheeks.

I like that summer sunkissed look.

And I kind of just put some on my eyes ’cause why not?

Now that I’ve kind of shaped the front of my face,

I go in with freckles, with a bow of freckles

to like actually extra contour the nose.

So I’ll like dab ’em on my finger

and then press ’em to my nose.

I’ve found that is the most natural way to like

put ’em on without them looking like black dots.

And yeah, that’s what I kind of put there.

Next up is my favorite part is usually the glitter

that I add.

This I think is the only reason why people think

I’m good at makeup

is because I cover myself in glitter on stage.

So I’m gonna take the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette

and this is my favorite.

Keep it safe and just do neutrals and brown.

So I’m gonna take like a neutral color right here,

put it across my eye.

Kind of is just like a clean palette.

I kind of just picked the next one that’s like

next shade up

and I’ll go into my crease here, kind of start

to draw my eye out like that.

You can see it’s like starting to create a shadow.

I’m like talking like a makeup guru.

You can see the shadow start.

And I’m just gonna go into my crease.

I kind of like to take a little bit of a grayish color.

This is apparently what like people think is brown,

but it is always like more of a grayish color

just ’cause it helps shape the eye

and isn’t too like intense.

And then after that,

I’m gonna go in a little bit darker.

This is where it gets a little dicey.

Go here on the edge

and like a triangle here.

So first thing I’m gonna take is I think this middle one.

Oh my god,

that’s a lot of glitter, one sec.

Okay, much better.

So I would say this is more of like a staged look,

this is something that I would attempt on stage

’cause I don’t know if I would go this glittery

in like everyday life, but look at that.

That’s so pretty, I love glitter.

It makes everything so much better.

Okay, so that’s what I kind of do.

I’ll start the front of the eyes.

I’ll take a little bit of this pink one.

I’m going to take a darker brown

and just kind of put it on a thinner brush

and just kind of trace the line of like an eyeliner

and along my eye.

I think the goal, I think what you really just have to do

is like when you don’t really know how to do makeup,

just kind of keep blending

and you will get somewhere in my opinion.

Okay, I think that looks cute.

Now I’m gonna put on some mascara.

I’m gonna take the Telescopic Lift L’Oreal Mascara.

This mascara is actually so good.

I usually like to just put my mascara out

and then when I have a makeup artist

or someone will ask them

to put a little lash on the end

because I think it’s so pretty.

I’m always a person who, if I find something I like,

I stick to it.

I think it’s always been easiest for me that way.

Especially traveling, like I just never wanna risk it.

If I have a show that day,

like I don’t wanna make my skin breakout

or something changes that just like doesn’t react well.

Like sometimes I’ll add like a few extra different ones,

but it’s pretty consistent

whenever I do my makeup routine.

After I’ve done that, I’m debating if I go in

with concealer again, I don’t think so, I’m gonna leave it.

I’m gonna go in with this new Rhode lip shaper.

Okay, that’s cute.

Okay, now I’m gonna blend it out a little

and then I usually do a little lip liner.

I’ll do the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk.

This is just a classic.

I’ve used this for so many years and I can never get enough.

It’s the best color, the best shade,

and I kind of just go into my lip as well

’cause it’s such a cute little pink color

and I overline a lot because why not?

After I do that, I’m going to take

the Neutrogena lip oil, Hydro Boost lip oil.

I’m gonna put this on my lips.

I have never done a matte lip.

I’m sorry, I love a gloss

and I will always be a glossy girl.

It’s such a fresh finish to make routines.

I think that’s it.

Okay, I hope this is good.

I think that’s my makeup routine.

And this is the finished look.

Thank you Allure for watching my 10 minute beauty routine.

See you on the next one.
