I’m always a fan of Vaseline body care – it’s simple and to the point and gets the job done. Vaseline Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotion is exactly the same but it’s been somewhat over complicated with so much messaging on the bottle that my eyes glazed over.
So – ‘Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotion Dewy Radiance Gluta Glow Hyaluron Niacinamide 10 x with antioxidants more powerful than Vitamin C fights dullness for dewy bright skin’ – are all of the words that you’re supposed to take in while just trying innocently to fight dry skin.
At this time of the year, I don’t really care if my legs have a dewy glow – or any time of year come to think of it, but it’s slightly different with my arms. I like all my limbs to look and feel soft and silky but I definitely pay more attention to my arms, giving them a quick exfoliation every week, followed by a decent moisturizer. What I do like about the Vaseline Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotion is that it’s light in texture but heavy on delivery with a nod to skin health in the form of antioxidants. You can get dressed more or less as soon as you have applied.
The ‘serum burst’ in the wordiest of wordings explains that formula ‘bursts into water droplets’ which sounds far more dramatic than it actually is but my goodness, does it make your skin feel silky! The texture needs virtually no working in at all and you’ll be tempted to be stroking your own arms (legs are more difficult, but you do you) all day. The upshot here is that Gluta-Hya is a delight – super-softening, beautifully hydrating immediately, and after five days of use, something of a transformation. It’s £12.99 (although it’s £8.50 HERE) and a big recommend from me.
