Ingredients

TURKEY RUB

  • 1 tsp kosher salt (*Note 1)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (*Note 2)
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary (*Note 2)
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp dried sage
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground mustard
  • ½ tsp black pepper + more to taste
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

TURKEY TENDERLOIN

  • 1½-2 lb turkey tenderloins (*Note 3)
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into 4 pats

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400˚F.

  • Combine all the rub ingredients in a small bowl. Rub all sides of the tenderloin ensuring an even coating.

  • Transfer the tenderloin to a greased baking sheet. Place the pats of butter on top of the tenderloin.

  • Cook for 20-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 165˚F. The total time will vary based on the size of the turkey tenderloin.

  • Remove from the oven. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Note 1 – Add more or less salt, to taste.
Note 2 – To use fresh ingredients, use 1 tbsp of fresh ingredients to 1 tsp of dried spices.
Note 3 – Most packages of turkey tenderloin include 2 pieces of tenderloin, for a total of around 1.5-2 pounds.
