When Carly asked if she could add in a Gen-Z approved edit, I thought, absolutely, how fun! I love seeing what she has her eye on. Funny enough, this Rachel Comey scarf has been lingering in my cart. Same with the leather mini dress.
Grace and I share a funny little crossroads when it comes to our style. Some days it leans more Grace, other days it swings my way, but it’s always fascinating to see where our taste overlaps—and where it doesn’t. Lately, that balance has pushed me to shop a little braver and reach for pieces I wouldn’t normally consider.
The Up Next Edit, Vol. 1
With the holidays coming up, I’ve been curating an ever-growing wishlist of pieces I’d love to add to my wardrobe. After spending so much time sourcing for both myself and others, I pitched Grace the idea of creating a “Gen Z–approved” edit that blends our styles into one shared vision. I love how wide the spectrum of influence is. I admire women my age who are experimenting and evolving, but I’m equally captivated by those who have truly honed their craft and studied the greats. That’s what The Up Next Edit is all about—introducing you to new designers, tastemakers, and brands that are getting it right, and doing it in a way that feels wearable for everyone.
A few things in particular….
- I went into the Loeffler Randall store to specifically try on these drawstring flats. I’m itching to pair them with a sheer skirt and oversized button-down.
- I can’t get over the price of this short-sleeve polo sweater! It reminds of a cashmere polo I’d found last season that was nearly double the price.
- Grace has been inspiring me to reach for more unique, accent jewelry and this pendant fits the bill.
- This spur belt has been on my mind for the last few months and I’m thinking it’s finally time to pull the trigger. Think of it paired with vintage denim and a crisp white tee.
- I can’t quite pin the exact moment when I locked in on this leopard cropped jacket, but it’s all I’ve been able to think about since.
