WHEW. What a week over here at TME HQ (heh). Big things are in the works, and yesterday was one of those total pinch-me moments for the team. Going from laptops + sticky notes scattered across Shana’s kitchen table to finding a brand new space for what’s next…wild. Truly, thank you, thank you, thank you for being here with us. We’re endlessly grateful for this crew, and your support never slips by us. We appreciate it more than I can really put into words, and this community feels all the more meaningful when the world around us feels heavy.
Okay, enough chit-chat. Let’s get into the weekend’s best sales.
The Best Sales This Weekend
- Saks – sale section. First, I can’t stop peeking at Linzi’s bag (SO good). Next, some fall finds: this really cool take on a polo (think: denim details), this tee with the best retro stripes, this cool polo dress, and Laura’s button-up in a thinner stripe.
- Mango – sale section. This entire outfit? YES. Also worth a peek: this wool-blend skirt + this cool-girl bomber.
- Gap Factory – up to 75% off + extra 20% off. Amy’s track pants are the sleekest track pants I’ve seen (suuuper wearable, thank you Satin). More cool pants for every day: leopard, choc brown, or barrel.
- Nordstrom – great stuff on sale like Kat’s FP sweater in such a good color, her cozy coatigan (that I’ve had my eyes on, too), Amy’s jeans in the perfect gray wash, and Scotti’s wide-leg jeans.
- adidas – up to 40% off sale. Currently eyeing these Gazelles in red + navy for fall, these wide-leg pants in beige/white, and these woven cargos.

Happy Friday! Let’s all take a collective deep breath. (1..2…3…hold….release) Ok good. Time to switch the body & mind into weekend mode. I’m heading to a Lumineers concert tonight with my fiance and sister and I’m soooo excited. Only thing is I don’t really have an outfit planned. (Weird.) Do I wear this denim dress or this tee + this jacket? LMK.
As far as fashion goes, I’ve got two things on the mind and two only: sweaters and jeans. Ever hear of ‘em? One of the best parts of our TME community is knowing I’m never, ever alone in that hahaha. My widget below is filled to the brim with both, but this 100% cotton sweater, this striped one and these 90s jeans are my top picks.
sweater (child’s XL) | pants (6 in ‘night indigo’) | tee (XS) | skirt (M)
ONE: Both pieces in this outfit are: A. on major sale, B. comfy as heck, C. trending for fall 2025. Need I say more? (BTW, my cardi is indeed made for kids – but here’s the women’s version that came out likeeee a day after I ordered this one? I like mine more tho hehe.)
TWO: This happy graphic tee is currently on sale for $44 and feels *really* good on – I sized down two sizes (that’s FP for ya) and still love the drape. I’d wear this any/every season! Gingham skirt is also on sale.

It’s just starting to feel like sweataah weather y’all and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Crispy cold mornings, layering cute cardigans and sweaters over my workout sets, and all things pumpkin spice. Just the distraction I need, in what has been yet another disastrous week. Sending you all lots of love, and hope you squeeze onto your loved ones a little tighter.
Okay, sales… I am very excited about the Nordstrom fall savings event and currently have these in my cart. Kinda niche, but if you are looking for baby soft feet add this to your nightly skincare routine. I put it on my heels and feet before moisturizing and it’s been an absolute game changer! Oh and this… yes please! XX – Kat
ONE: As luck would have it, I just ordered a bunch of sweaters that I actually loveeee and they are all on sale! If you like cropped sweaters in cool color ways, then you will love this one. It’s 100% percent my vibe and will definitely be a part of my rotation this season.
TWO: This is technically a cardigan, but it feels more like a coatigan. Thick enough to wear outside when it’s 50 degrees and cool enough to wear on its own. Stay tuned for a bunch of style inspo on how to wear it!

Like Abby, I’m also headed to a concert tonight and have zero idea what to wear…or more like, I’ve had zero time to put any thought into it. We’ve had lots of hot and muggy weather this week, but I think, I THINK?, it should be a lovely 70 something during the show, which means I could get away with a lot of outfit combos. Do I use this casual outfit for inspo? Or thissss as inspo.
One of my top sellers last week is now 50% OFF – they’re the updated, more minimal version of pants I bought a few years ago; super lightweight + silky soft! And Nordstrom has my current favorite face exfoliator and longtime go-to makeup stick in the special sale section, both of which are rarely ever on sale. Xx
jeans (28) | tee (L) | pants (S Tall)
ONE: One of my most favorite pairs of jeans over this entire past year, and easily my fave Mother silhouette. They’re an easy barrel and run loose, I took my reg size so they’d sit lower and give me a tad more length. On sale at both Nordstrom and Bloomingdales!!
TWO: I had hopes for this elbow length tee to be good, but it’s amazing. Not heavy, but not thin or cheap feeling. It’s soft, with perfect elbow length sleeves, and runs big (I’m ordering a medium next). It’s 100% worth grabbing a multi-pack!!

A few fun moments from the week: Berkley finally learned to sit (thanks to a dog trainer who made it click), I got my hair colored by an old Marquette friend who owns a salon here — obsessed with my color — and connected with a new photographer while my regular one recovers from a detached retina (miss you, Shalimar!). I even went to a networking event with my BFF and her fun group of girlfriends on a random Tuesday night. Date night with Andy tonight, my mom flying in this weekend…it’s been non-stop. I keep thinking life will slow down, but so far, no sign of that — maybe next week? 😏
Fun sales: Nordstrom’s Fall Savings Event finally includes pieces I’ve been eyeing — like these Paige jeans I love (this darker wash is perfect for fall) and this classic 100% merino wool AllSaints cardigan that’s 60% off. Athleta’s also having their Friends & Family Sale for cardholders (30% off with code CARD30), but this sweatshirt — the softest thing I’ve ever felt — is on sale whether you have a card or not!
t-shirt (xs) | jeans (6, also at Nordstrom) | bag | sneakers | sweater (s) | pants (m)
ONE: Everything in this outfit (except the bag) is on sale 🙌🏼. This MOTHER tee is down to $75 from $100 and how good are those colors? These Good American jeans are my absolute favorites — I’ve shared them a billion times because they’re just that good — down to $61 from $154, which is insane. 🤯 And these sneakers? So comfy (no socks needed!) and I love the pink with yellow laces. They’re $60 from $100 and also come in a gorgeous blue I might have to grab.
TWO: Another outfit I bought at full price that’s now 25% off! 🙌🏼 I love the lightweight texture of this rugby sweater (it also comes in navy or red stripes), and these pants completely surprised me. I didn’t think I’d like them until I tried them on, but they’re perfectly slouchy in the best way, hit at just the right length for flats on me, and come in a bunch of colors.

Hey, hey Friday. Having a cool morning over here with the screen door letting the breeze in and it’s the best. Fall is coming. Maybe fall will save us. ❤️ The big plans this weekend are monthly bookclub at my friend Andrea’s tonight (she has a frozen drink machine, so…) and we’re talking about Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, my rec for this month. If you haven’t read it I don’t want to oversell it but GO NOW. It’s so so good. Also, I don’t currently subscribe to ABC or Disney, but that would be on the to-do list to cancel this weekend if I did. Fall may save us…or Jon Stewart. I feel like if they band together, with Colbert obviously, they can do it.
And now for something completely different…Gap is having $20 off every $50 you spend right now. I am doing a try-on soon and just ordered these vintage soft baggy sweatpants and the matching cropped hoodie (not too cropped) because the colors and fabric and cut look incredible. Oooh and my rugby dress that was just on our IG yesterday is on sale at Nordstrom! It’s so freaking cute and sporty and easy and runs a little big, so size down if you’re between. But I went with my regular size M. (In sizes XS – 2X)
Shirt (M) | Sweater (M) | Jeans (29)
ONE: This adorable Rag & Bone swing top is on sale in a really gorgeous pale blue smaller stripe option I love even more than this one above. It’s one of those easy outfit-makers that you can throw on with any favorite jeans or pants and feel fabulous. The cut is just so good.
TWO: Both this adorable sweater and wide leg jeans I just got in are on sale at Gap this weekend. This is a new favorite outfit already (when it cools down more) and while the sweater is cropped, these jeans are midrise, so pairing it with high rise would cover even more. I’m realizing how much I prefer a top that hits right at my waistband these days for my shorter torso. This one is stretchy and so freaking good. Comes in black, too. The jeans are great and give just a bit with wear so I’d say true to size. Shoes (not on sale rn).

Ummm….anyone else a little confused on why the sale at Nordstrom right now is SO good? I don’t remember this from years past at all, but then again…these days do I remember much of anything?? Ugh…aging brain. Anyway…decided to take a break from Birkenstock World and jump in on this week’s sales report to share what got me excited. Even though I’m wearing a tank top right now (swampy and humid outside still), I do love the what-to-wear planning prep for fall weather (even when it’s 80 degree weather)…it will get cool eventually. Jeans, sweaters, and comfy cute shoes, obviously (tons on sale right now!)
Okay….so I’ve been looking for new fall fashion sneaks and these fancy ones (in mocha) and these more reasonably priced ones (in navy) are in the running and both on sale. Also…I think Shana got sick of me borrowing hers when I was at her house, so she gifted me this set last year. I love it so much! Easy (for “beginners”) and so fun to use. Would be a fantastic $80-ish holiday gift (if you’re starting early!)
jeans (27) | tee (s) | bag | jacket | jeans (29)
ONE: The cult-fav Free People Moxie Jeans now have a wash that does NOT have paint splatters or patchwork or distressing…so it gives a more classic (less statement-y) vibe than the typical Moxies. And yay for a new exciting wash being on sale already!! My most comfortable jeans for sure and the perfect length for Birks, low profile sneaks, and cute fall flats. Size down 2 sizes. Also on sale in ALL colors (my fav Frame v-neck) and this amazing Phillip Lim denim bag that I get compliments on every time I wear it (including in NYC –the ultimate compliment..ha!)
TWO: These Paige Anessa Wide Leg Jeans have a similar fit (and stretch) to my fav MOTHER Rollers. Also, my Eileen Fisher fall velveteen jacket is on sale with a few sizes left – this EF jacket (on sale for under $100) looks like it’s the same (or extremely similar) style just in a different color. I told you the sales are good!

The internet is down again in our small town, which means I’m writing this from the “quiet room” at our library – and I’m not exaggerating when I say that doing exactly this has been on my bucket list for a cool seven years. The blissful silence. It’s such a necessary, cherished treat.
In sales this week – finally pulled the trigger on this wardrobe-altering piece while it’s 25% off (keep your eyes for photos as soon as it’s in my hands). Abercrombie has up to 40% off almost everything fall and up to 60% off clearance and unsurprisingly, my cart is filling up fast, with this little jacket-y thing topping the list (let’s face it, the photos suck, but use your imagination…). And this classic quarter-zip!? It’s not a need per se, but it’ll haunt me if I miss out on it. In both colors, of course, because I don’t possess the brain cells to make yet another decision.
ONE: Ok nobody tell Jeni – these jeans aren’t technically on sale, but they ARE finally back in stock. And $35. I can’t tell you how many times in a week I wear these (but the preschool moms probably could!). So comfy, slouchy, and the best, semi-faded, easy leopard pattern that’s not super shouty. Wearing a small and they run a little big (they probably fit like a 26 or a 27 and I’m usually a 25) – but I really like them that way, so choose accordingly. And note: not all colorways are created equal. These are the “Leopard.” I bought the “Leopard Khaki” too, and it was a stretchy fabric with a shorter inseam. Still cute, but not my preferred fit.
TWO: Oooh, Bloomie’s has my Featherweight Sofie jeans on sale as part of their F&F event – in an admittedly different wash but with the same raw hem that lets us shorties customize the length with ease (I took a couple of inches off of mine and I’m 5’5”). These are THE most-worn wide leg jeans I own. And the hands-down favorite of Lana and her little tween gal friends, if that makes a difference to anyone (I will take all the tween compliments I can get between the sassy moments, thank you very much). True to size – these are a 25 – and the featherweight material truly feels like pajamas while still being a true denim. Love.
