Hey, Friday! Spending time in Philly with this amazing team has been so so good for me this week. It’s always funny how when we see each other in person after on Zoom for years in between we’re like “ahh you do exist in 3D” LOL. This week was so good for the soul. I’m now headed to see a couple of besties in DC for the weekend. The East Coast is always so lovely to visit and have everything just a short train ride away.
Lots of fun sale finds happening this weekend, like Free People stuff at Bloomingdale’s. There are so many great pieces that we all love there. I literally wear my Moxie jeans at least once a week if not more often, so I’m thinking I need them in this Jetty color, too, since they’re on sale.
ONE: You’ve heard about them a million times but it’s because they’re so good. The Free People Moxie jeans are still a go-to favorite. I even wore them on my long day flying out here to Philly last weekend. Granted, the grommets at the waist did set off the metal detector (oops didn’t think about that one) but they couldn’t have been more comfortable and great otherwise. They run a little big and will break in with wear, so you might size down. Sweater | Sneakers
TWO: If you get one thing at Anthropologie’s Buy More Get More sale I think it should absolutely be the Maeve Colette Pants. They are magical. I brought two pairs on my trip out here this week. They look good on everyone I’ve seen them on and offer a bunch of colors and size options. True to size, but size down if truly between as they have plenty of stretch. The patch front pockets are just the cutest detail that look so good. Love.

Mom and I are in Chicago this weekend on a very important mission: find her a dress for the wedding that she actually loves—one that feels like her. The kids are with their dad, so we’re treating this like a full-blown shopping getaway. It’s been forever since it was just the two of us, and I’m so looking forward to soaking up the time together (and maybe a mimosa or two).
Finding a mother-of-the-bride dress that doesn’t feel super formal, stuffy, or matronly is no small task—but more than anything, I just want her to feel good in whatever she wears.

ONE: Speaking of the Anthro sale, I grabbed this jacket in store recently and haven’t stopped wearing it since. It’s that ideal spring layer—light enough for warmer days, easy to toss over basically anything, and somehow just makes every outfit look better. (Also in a neutral olive color…)
TWO: These jeans are over $100 off at Saks—and they’re my all-time faves. I have this style (the Beverly Flare) in two different washes already because the fit is that good—especially if you’ve got a booty. This version has cute patch pockets on the front, but the same magical fit. They run small though (and long…these are not hemmed yet), so definitely size up.

This whole outfit is a keeper for me and I’ve worn both the sweatshirt and jeans, together and separately, multiple times this week. They are both so comfy and are my perfect casual day vibe.
TWO: Kenneth Cole Sheer Organza Overlay Midi Dress – I friggin’ love this dress. It has such a chic vibe and is similar to a Reformation dress I’ve been eyeing. It also comes in white and is 25% off for a limited time at Nordstrom. It runs TTS.

Ooooh! Saks sale is GOOD this week and Nordstrom is price-matching on a few things (like Rails pieces), so thought I’d pop in for some Friday sales talk! This is a sale I might have overlooked, but it was like Danielle created this entire Saks sales post specifically for me! It’s SO good. Could be I was super drawn in because she featured some pieces I already own and love, but I really do think she totally nailed the outfit combos and I love the vibe. Her post sent me immediately to Saks’ site, and I’m now having a hard time narrowing down my cart. Check her post out if you missed it, and I’m including some of my favs below.
ONE: Rails Dress (also at Nordstrom) I’m SUCH a Rails fan for summer dresses and this one is super light and airy and feels like you’re wearing nothing. I’m wearing a small here, but it’s a smidge big in the chest, so I’m still considering switching it out for XS.
TWO: Naghedi Tulum Bag: My beloved giant Naghedi Tulum bag is on sale! And it’s the first time I’m seeing the black version on sale as well. This bag holds allllll the things. And looks just as good with dresses as it does with beachwear or weekend kid-schlepping clothes. A bunch more gorgeous Naghedi bags on sale, too!

I’ve got my eye on that yellow stripe color, next!
TWO: I thought these pants were gone for good but they restocked a bunch of sizes this week! The easiest way to feel like a cool mom: these camo khakis + your fave crewneck now, swapped with an easy tank as the weather warms up.

Happy MAY, friends. What the actual. I went to get my hair trimmed today and my stylist and I both had to check our calendars because it felt like I was just there, like, a couple weeks ago. Turns out it was three months ago. Guess it’s true what they say: time flies when you’re attempting to rock a long bob.
Sales this week: I love the idea of buying both pieces of this set (in “vacationland, obviously), but they’d be extremely versatile as separates, too. They made a ringer version of one of my favorite tees; it’s so good and part of the $20 off $100 promo – so I’d either stock up on other hues or add this very intriguing pair of High Loose denim (in the Medium Wash). And this is very outside the box for me, but this ring embodies joy.
I can’t believe this elevated crocheted top is marked down to $27 (its actually just $18 in the coral hue!). It’s such an easy way to do jeans and a “tee” – but with a little more effort implied. It’s gonna be cute with linen shorts and a bikini, too. Wearing a small. And the shorts? Supersoft, almost featherweight “denim” in the sweetest lilac hue – also on sale, and in six other colors, too, including a railroad stripe. YES.
