Anything Summer Fridays makes inevitably turns to gold, and that goes for its newest launch: a golden new eau de parfum. The brand-new fragrance, Sunlit Vanilla Eau de Parfum ($82), is finally available at Sephora today. It is a nod to the brand’s cult-favorite Lip Butter Balm ($24), as the original smells like a warm vanilla.
This eau de parfum marks a new category entry for Summer Fridays, who previously only released a limited edition rollerball perfume oil in 2021. As the name evokes, this new fragrance is inspired by endless summer and arrives right on time as we head into the warmer seasons. With top notes of bergamot, heart notes of caramel and coconut and bottom notes of vanilla, creamy musk, tonka bean and amber, it delivers a soft, delectable gourmand scent. It has a cozy radiance to it and is designed to evoke those classic summer moments like melting ice cream as the sun sets. It’s safe to say that this perfume has us dreaming of warm weather and upcoming summer Fridays.
“Scent and flavor have always been at the heart of Summer Fridays. We’ve loved vanilla since we launched our original Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla in 2020. We set out to create an elevated, sophisticated vanilla, not just a gourmand you think of wearing in the winter, but something effortlessly wearable all year round.”
Summer Fridays has been expanding in the color makeup category recently as well. The brand’s Flushed Lip Stain ($22) and Softline Lip Liner ($20) mark expansions in the lip space where the Lip Butter Balm has dominated, while last year’s Blush Butter Balm ($26) launch became an instant favorite.
Sunlit Vanilla Eau de Parfum Travel Size ($30) is also available if you’re on-the-go and need a smaller bottle.
