One of the most positive attributes of my apartment is that it is a hop, skip and a Starbucks’ stop from the beloved Sofie Pavitt’s Brooklyn clubhouse. Known around the New York skin scene as “The Acne Whisperer,” the incredibly skilled aesthetician (she’ll never name-drop, but Zendaya has gone to her) delivers the most glow-worthy, expert-driven facials with a serious side of non-judgmental education.
Besides her two studios, Pavitt also has her successful Sofie Pavitt Face line, which launched in March 2023. The brand is cheery, fun, easy-to-use and ridiculously effective. And, on December 26, the studio-grade products will launch at Sephora.com. (Starting February 28 of next year, the line will enter 363 Sephora stores across the U.S.)
Specifically designed for problematic skin, the curated line (Pavitt is a strong believer in skipping “unnecessary steps”) includes the hero Mandelic Clearing Serum (a lightweight, almost water-like AHA and hyaluronic acid treatment that gently exfoliates and soothes), as well as the acne-focused Clean Clean Cleanser, Nice Ice Frozen Toner Pods, Micellar Cleansing Pads and Reset Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Mask.
“Sephora is thrilled to introduce Sofie Pavitt Face to our clients,” says Brooke Banwart, SVP Skincare Merchandising at Sephora. “This brand is committed to elevating the at-home skin care experience, streamlining routines, and maximizing results. We are confident that Sofie Pavitt Face’s effective products and customized approach will be a great addition to our skin-care assortment and resonate with our Sephora Community.”
“I am beyond excited to partner with Sephora to make Sofie Pavitt Face accessible to a wider audience,” says Pavitt. “My mission has always been to empower individuals with simple yet effective skin-care solutions that elevate their routines without overwhelming them. With our products, everyone can achieve their best skin yet—no studio appointment required.”
