[RECIPE] Protein pancake bowl | Fitness Magazine


This protein pancake bowl recipe puts a fresh spin on a firm weekend breakfast favourite, helping you start your morning on a delicious note with a beneficial protein dose.

This fluffy, protein-filled meal is easy to customise with your favourite fruits and toppings to meet any occasion or taste preference.

Ingredients

  • 1½  cups buckwheat flour or oat flour
  • 1 large scoop Biogen Iso-Whey, Strawberry flavour
  • Sweetener (optional)
  • Milk (enough to achieve a smooth batter)
  • Fruit to top
  • Syrup to serve
  • Milk or yoghurt to serve

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, Biogen Iso-Whey, and any desired sweetener. Gradually whisk in milk until you have a smooth, pourable batter.
  2. Pour the batter into serving ramekins or cups. Top with your favourite fresh fruit. Bake or air-fry at 180°C until the centres are just set and the tops are lightly golden.
  3. Serve warm, topped with additional fruit, a drizzle of syrup, and a dollop of yoghurt or milk for extra creaminess.
