Provence Moodboard
Tomorrow, I head from Paris to Provence for my creative retreat. I could not be more excited. I’m taking a true vacation; I’ll have some blog content scheduled, but mostly plan to be mostly offline to wander/paint/draw/read, etc. Today, I was inspired to create a little Provence moodboard for you. It’s part packing list, part inspiration for what I want the week to look like.
I packed a lot of white dresses with breezy nightgown vibes. This one from Hill House is such a beauty. The fabric is just right–very soft, thin but still opaque. It’s a real nightgown but I can’t imagine sleeping in it, I wear it out! I also bought this lace one from Loeffler Randall (it has best details), and on the affordable front, (on my pal Hart’s rec) I got this actual nightgown from Etsy for both my sister and I. I packed my favorite sun hat, easy blouses like this one, and a handful of beaded gemstone necklaces to layer.
On that note of travel, I find fragrance to be so transportive. When I travel, I like to pick one of my perfumes and wear that for the whole trip. Then, when I am home, that fragrance brings me back to the trip. For this trip, I packed this one, which makes sense: it’s a French brand (and it smells like an orange orchard with notes of wood). I wrote a longer review of Orrmaie Les Brumes, if you’d like to read more about it.
