Primary Colors! The Best Finds Under $200

This coming fall season is shaping up to be bold, bright, and (best news ever!) color-forward. Think cherry red, sunny yellow, and cobalt blue. These hues dominated the runway, which was honestly very refreshing to me. I am over all of the beige and neutrals. They have their place, but I love seeing luxury brands have fun again. Who What Wear named “In Glorious Technicolor” one of the best trends for Fall and Winter, and I adored this piece from Marie Claire UK about dopamine dressing! Primary colors feel vibrant and happy, a nice antidote to all of that sad beige from the past few years.

Whether you go head-to-toe in cherry red or dip a toe in with just a little pop of yellow, now is the time to lean into color. The best part? You don’t have to spend a fortune to get the look. Carly and I have found 18 pieces under $200 that channel this colorful moment beautifully—no supersized runway budget required.

You know me, I like to go bold with color. I’ve been fantasizing about wearing these kick flares, this fuzzy sweater, and these suede ballet flats together. All in tonal cobalt. (Adding this yellow necklace to the look could be fun!). You could also have a little fun and wear all three colors together. A sweet sunshine mini, the cobalt flats (again), and a cozy red sweater over your shoulders? The cutest. There’s no wrong way to do it. Go monochromatic, mix and match them, or pick one and pair it with neutrals.
