Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

These Homemade Pepperoni Rolls never disappoint. You’ve got soft, pillowy bread wrapped around gooey cheese and spicy pepperoni—what’s not to love? They’re warm, cheesy, and just a little bit greasy in the best way. It’s like biting into a cozy little pizza roll, but way better because you made it yourself. Perfect for snacking, game day, or just because you’re craving something tasty and easy.

How to Make Pepperoni Rolls

This recipe is effortless to make with only five simple ingredients. Open a can of thin crust pizza dough and roll it into a rectangle. Cut the pizza dough into six pieces. Top each piece of dough with a slice of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices. Roll up the dough and place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown. Stir together melted butter and garlic powder. Brush the top of the rolls with the garlic butter. Sprinkle the baked rolls with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve with warm pizza sauce or marinara sauce.

Helpful Tips & Frequently Asked Questions

  • I use a can of Pillsbury thin pizza dough. I tested this recipe with a can of regular pizza dough and found it to be way too much bread.
  • I use pepperoni slices. You can substitute pepperoni sticks.
    • Use turkey pepperoni for lower calories.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

What to Serve with Pepperoni Roll Recipe

Homemade pepperoni rolls are the ultimate grab-and-go snack, but they’re also perfect for building out a full meal.

  • A simple side salad with ranch or Italian dressing adds a fresh, crisp contrast to all that cheesy, pepperoni goodness.
  • If you’re serving these for game day or a casual get-together, throw in a side of warm marinara or garlic butter for dipping and maybe a batch of mozzarella sticks or potato wedges to round things out.
  • For something lighter, roasted veggies or a bowl of tomato basil soup make a cozy, comforting pairing.

Whether you’re keeping it simple or making it a full spread, these rolls play well with just about anything.
