Pamela Anderson’s Feathered ’80s Haircut Was Inspired by French Cinema—See the Photos

Anderson told WWD that her new cut was inspired by French cinema; if you’ve seen her Criteron Closet episode, you’d know she’s a massive cinephile with a particular love of French film, and she also lived in the south of France for a few years. “I’m preparing for a film, so I’m playing with the color,” the star explained, adding that she brought a list of references to her hair stylist, including the French actor Marlène Jobert. “Why not get it done in France with a great French hairdresser because it’s inspired by French cinema?” Anderson said she’s “having fun” with her hair and alluded to more changes in the works. “I’m just playing with it… it’s gonna be different every day.”

Just one day prior, Anderson attended the Tom Ford show with her newly dyed red hair worn in a sleek crop, slicked back and to the side and styled with sunglasses and an all-black ensemble—très Parisian indeed. She didn’t share if the new color was for the aforementioned film role, but it’s fun to see the ultimate blonde bombshell dip her toes into the redhead world.
