I cannot believe we’re coming to the end of November. I know it’s turkey day, but is anyone else itching to take out the winter holiday decor? Or maaaybe even have some holiday outfit inspo in mind? Top sellers, naturally, gives even more inspo.
There’s a bunch of fun sweaters in this month’s mix and wow, am I so ready for it to be colder so I can bundle up in them. I’m eyeing this fun, metallic number that Jess found, Favorite Daughter’s argyle one, and this unexpected striped sweater, in case you’re curious.
PS: A lot of this stuff (but not everything) is on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday!! Cheers to the holidays and sales.
The best sellers also has a ton of elevated basics for the rest of fall outfits into winter — the beloved MOTHER jeans that Linz swears by, the Vince sweater that’s five (or six??) years in the running for some of our fave cashmere, and these Free People jeans that make for such a great casual, holiday lewk. Ahhh, the inspo is so good this month.
Top sellers, ya get me yet again.

The kinda skirt that works for the holidays and the office (there’s other colors available, too). Also, 25% off right now!
Shana’s Note: Nothing says Festive like a twirly skirt (it’s what I always *think* I want to wear).

Besides the obvious, here (the print and the red running through), that slouch is speaking to me.
Abby’s Note: A wool blend stunner that (reviewers claim) can be worn with every bottom possible.
At Nordstrom | At Bloomingdale’s | At Saks
I LOVE this green color, but there’s a ton of great color options. Totally not surprised it ended up in our cashmere guide and the top sellers. I get it. And, it’s on sale.
Shana’s Note: This Vince funnel neck sweater has made it into every cashmere guide we’ve published since we started five (six?) years ago! There are two things that make this sweater really special and unique: First, this sweater is knit from a boiled cashmere wool, which makes this sweater denser, thicker, and softer than most cashmere sweaters. It’s a truly dreamy sweater and sooo warm. Second, the funnel neck is so sophisticated. Wear this sweater to work, pop it on for a zoom call, or make your tired, messy bun look intentional and chic.
That little gold detail (despite how tiny), really stood out to me. Love.
Shana’s Note: This Kate Spade shoulder bag is the perfect shape, a great size for everyday, and has the *exact* right mix of ivory, tan and…black. So chic.
Okay, Linzi. Thank you, for continuing my love for Staud bags. UGH. How good is this thing?? On sale in the cream color, too.
Linzi’s Note: My newest Staud bag. And it’s a total winner. I’ve been wearing more shoulder bags in the past year, but this bag worn as a crossbody still feels fresh with its interesting shape and vintage-like styling. It’s also stunning as a top handle bag. The only problem, of course, is deciding on which color is best.

There’s a few color options, but I especially like the one above and the taupe. You can always count on Sorel for good-quality, but interesting boots with the best color combos.
Shana’s Note: These waterproof Sorels are really cute on. They’ve redesigned the toe so it’s more…interesting? Which means that if you wear these boots with longer (or wide-leg) jeans, the toe that peeks out is cute. It’s not just a masculine block of BOOT. Ya know? Genius.

Lash serums are the real deal, and I reaaally wanna try this one next. So many people swear by it. On sale at all the retailers listed above.
Amy’s Note: One of my favorite products that easily garners me the most compliments of all (I need to find a before-and-after…it works better than you can imagine).
Suuuuch a good find, Jess. I love the metallic, yet worn look to this sweater. The other color is super pretty, too.
Jess’ Note: I never thought I’d call a crewneck cable sweater gorgeous, but this one definitely is. Shimmy while shimmering all Holiday season long in this versatile sweater that’s easily dressed up or down, depending on what’s on the evening’s drink menu. 😉
I think everyone should have one slightly tailored, slightly utilitarian piece in their wardrobe. It’s so versatile. Oh, and it’s 30% off right now.
Shana’s Note: This piece should add instant polish, have stretch for comfort, and be easy to carry (you’ll end up taking it off once it gets warm). Bonus points if it can be shoved into a large(ish) bag and not wrinkle. I wore this Vince ponte jacket both times – it’s great.
The queen of sweater dresses strikes again with this stunner. Love that Scotti paired it with tall boots. On sale in black and oatmeal.
Scotti’s Note: My favorite from last January’s try-on was also from French Connection, like this sweater dress. They just nail that balance of cozy and sexy, with fabrics that are incredibly soft and have just the right amount of stretch.
Another argyle sweater that Abby has me swooning over. (Selfishly hoping you try it out, Abby).
Abby’s Note: The sweater that’s number one on my wishlist.
Those seams! Super leg-lengthening. It’s that kinda style that works casually for everyday, but could be dressed up. 30% off at Nordstrom, too.
Shana’s Note: Ummm…OKAY, PAIGE. I’ve been firmly stuck in Levi’s land (these) but this pair of Paige jeans just stopped me in my tracks. The seam detail, the cool, French-girl vibes (done in a really unique, fresh way) – I’m totally smitten. Not to mention: on sale. All sizes in stock at Saks, too (also 30% off!). NOTE: These jeans have a whopping 34.5″ inseam, so I’ll definitely need to hem.
At Nordstrom | At Bloomingdale’s (in Emperador)
Every single wash of these jeans is so pretty (and they’re currently 30% off). Laura’s holiday outfit idea below is sooo good, too. Here’s the top (in the ivory combo) she’s thinking of, if you’re wondering.
Laura’s Note: This will be my festive holiday casual outfit (but with moto boots), with pieces I can easily wear separately again that won’t feel too holiday-y. LOVE both of these.
This color is stunning. Would look great with a long, flowy dress.
Linzi’s Note: Comfortable and worn for years…check. And now they’re available in this gorgeous burgundy-wine!
At Nordstrom | At Mother Denim | At Tuckernuck
Surprise, surprise that the MOTHER hustlers ended up in our top sellers. I’d argue they’ll be sticking around as a fave for a long time, if not forever.
Linzi’s Note: For those of us who have loved flares forever and always, the MOTHER Hustler Rollers are the PERFECT transition to wide-leg jeans. They flare a bit (definitely not a straight-leg wide-leg fit), and I wear them exactly how I wear flares (with sneakers for shorter lengths and with clogs or heels for longer lengths). I also dress them up exactly how I do flares…with an interesting shirt tucked in and shoes that give me height. These are by far my most-worn of all my MOTHER jeans right now.
Cashmere under $100? Now, that’s the kinda thing I’m looking for. We all deserve a super cozy sweater.
Shana’s Note: Best cashmere under $100? Quince just came out with new colors for their 100% cashmere fisherman sweater and they’re gorgeous. And while it’s not quite as good as Jenni Kayne’s, I figured out a trick: size up one size in Quince, and then this under-$100 sweater looks prettttttty darn close.
I’m with Em, this is awesome outfit inspo. Simple + sleek, but comfortable.
Em’s Note: Using this as minimal outfit inspo for a casual brunch we have in Chicago next weekend, adding a herringbone trench and a floofy scarf for the chill. The silver earrings, bracelets and little bag — so good. But it’s the sweater, in particular, that I adore, with blousy details that give tidy “tucked” vibes when in reality it’s so much less maintenance. (Of course the black speaks to me, but you can see the details a bit better on the other colors.) The price feels right, too
This *might* be my favorite piece in our top sellers this month. I’ve been eyeing this sweater for way too long at this point. This color combo is unexpected and fresh, but has a nostalgic, vintage feel to it. AND, it’s 36% off.
These kinda remind me of the Danner boots style (which I’ve always ‘ooo’ed’ over), but at a fraction of the cost. The red laces with the chestnut brown is *chef’s kiss*.
Shana’s Note: Gahhh UGG why u so cute? These boots, Gang. Seriously warm and waterproof. But which color? (I’m leaning chestnut…)
Five-star reviews, 30% off and that color? I’m in.
Scotti’s Note: Ooh remember these boots?? They’re 30% off right now! (Also in black–90% of reviewers gave them 5 stars!)
See ya next month with more top sellers!
