Naomi Watts is having a busy June. Earlier in the month, she celebrated a “second wedding”-slash-anniversary with husband Billy Crudup in Mexico City. Today, she launches a new sleep supplement many years in the making via her Stripes Beauty line.
“For far too long, sleep disturbances have been an accepted part of perimenopause and menopause,” Watts exclusive told us regarding the new product, a time-released supplement clinically proven to address the insomnia, restless sleep, frequent wake-ups, and night sweats that accompany perimenopause and menopause.
“That’s where The Dream Date comes in. It addresses the root causes of these issues and help women reclaim their nights and vitality, one restful night at a time.”
Watts, who has been very vocal about her own menopause journey—”over the course of my career as an actor, I’ve outrun tsunamis and come face-to-face with King Kong, but nothing prepared me for early menopause” she bravely said when she launched Stripes—adds that, as women, “we know how crucial a good night’s sleep is to our health, especially as we navigate the hormonal changes that come with aging. That’s why I’m excited to introduce The Dream Date, a new sleep supplement designed to naturally and effectively combat insomnia, night sweats and other sleep disturbances. With its clinically proven formula, The Dream Date will empower countless women to wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.”
While Watts has always been passionate about Stripes, a brand she founded and now owns, she also shares that the line recently made a very special appearance during a very special day.
“For our wedding anniversary, I turned to Stripes Beauty to ensure my skin was at its best, especially knowing these products are backed by science. I started off my skin-care routine with Resting Clean Face, a gentle cleanser that effectively cleans my skin without stripping away its natural moisture—something essential for me in any skin-care product.”
After cleansing, Watts says she “loved using Cool Factor for its hydrating boost and calming effect, which really set the stage for the rest of my routine. I found myself reaching for it throughout the day for an extra refresh.”
Next in line was Power Move serum. Watts considers it “a hero product that works wonders for plumping and hydrating my skin, creating the perfect canvas for applying Dew As I Do brightening and hydrating face cream. This final step not only left my skin with a radiant glow, but also ensured it stayed moisturized under my makeup.”
As far as a signature scent for the celebration, Watts says she really didn’t have too look much further than her skin care.
“One of the things I adore about these products is their light, modern fragrance blend of iris, beach rose, creamy sandalwood, suede, and soft musk. It’s a luxurious yet comforting aroma that aligns perfectly with my preference for natural scents, especially those inspired by roses.”
