Malin + Goetz Tomato Home Spray

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Now we are at peak socially busy season, this exceptional spray is really coming into its own. It’s coyly called a Home Spray and indeed, you can spritz it anywhere you please, but its true home is in the loo where it serves as an odour neutralizer spectaculaire. If we are going to measure socially awkward situations, loo visits in someone else’s home has to rank up right up there (along with your dog weeing on their rug but we won’t go into that).

We’ve got what we call a ‘utility room’ which remains unchanged since we moved in over 30 years ago. Not only does it serve as the place where we keep the washing machine, the ceiling hung drying rack and obviously, piles of laundry, it also serves as an overflow for clutter. Vases, boots, dog paraphernalia, cleaning products, art supplies and an old ice-cream maker that is too heavy to take down to the cellar – not to mention tins of diet coke, shoe cleaning items, scarves, hats and gloves. It also, in amongst that chaos, has a loo and a sink. Because its on the ground floor, it gets used the most although I’ve got one friend who considers it such a migraine inducing nightmare, she refuses to wade through our drying pants and pointedly goes upstairs.

We’ve been waiting for a particular builder for two years (we said we’d wait – we’ve waited 30 years so a couple more won’t hurt) so the situation will eventually change but never has a room needed an odour neutraliser more. The Malin + Goetz spray is an exceptional neutraliser – it will rid your home of lingering cooking smells (I cannot stand the stale food smell), anything emanating from the smallest room in the house and pretty much anything else that might offend your nostrils.

Tim makes Dora a bone broth every now and again and honestly, the smell makes me want to move to another country, never mind another room, and I’ve never been more grateful for discovering Malin + Goetz Tomato Home Spray for making what emanates from that cauldron of bleugh untraceable. If you’re wondering if your home will suddenly smell like the Tesco veg aisle, no – this is a clean, green, vaguely viney scent that makes everything smell freshly washed and twice as nice. Cheap it is not, power packed it absolutely is and your guests will thank you for every single spritz that spares their blushes. It’s £48 HERE.
