[unpaid/sample/affiliate] I’m a sucker for tubing mascaras but I think the Makeup Revolution Lash Wrap is the first one I’ve tried that is both tubing and burgundy. It’s reasonably priced at £10.99 (Superdrug) and unlike some coloured mascaras, gives a good colour effect.
It claims ‘mega extension & volume’ and I’m not sure that’s quite right (not sure it’s even quantifiable) but I did get a more full looking lash line and that will do nicely. Tubing Mascaras have trouble volumising – something to do with the formula which isn’t as straightforward as a regular mascara. Tubing mascaras work by wrapping the lashes rather than just coating over the surface and you need to remove with warm water and a clean cloth by gently pressing down on the lashes and pulling the cloth down – if it’s a good tubing mascara, you’ll be able to see evidence of the tubes on the cloth.
I’ve added some Hildun Beauty Rich Violet Silk to Set liner on my inner rims (it’s only available in a trio HERE) but I’m hoping it will become available as a single. I don’t think I really have any complaints about this tubing mascara – it’s giving a lovely, burgundy finish so if you’re passing a Superdrug, it’s one to look out for.
