Labor Day weekend always feels like the bridge between seasons…one last stretch of summer, with a glimpse of fall right around the corner. If you’re spending the long weekend at home, in the sun, or somewhere in between, it’s also a great time to pick up a few things on sale, and do a little back to school shopping (for the kiddos…and us 😉). We pulled together the highlights: the retailers running the best deals and a few of our favorite finds from each in our usual cheat sheet format. Consider it half things we already have and love, half stuff we’re eyeing for fall.
Start Here: The Top Labor Day Sales Of 2025
- If you’re looking for cute, designer-y tops: Reiss on sale. My top picks are this really fancy tee, one seriously cool striped linen sweater that’s perfect for a hot fall day, and this textured knit polo shirt that is so nonchalantly cool. Would be great for work, too.
- Marcella NYC has some really awesome stuff on sale. Little black maxi dresses: short sleeve, off-the-shoulder or an interesting neckline. You gotta take a look at this leather skirt (hint: not a pencil skirt style). Last, cool tops/sweatshirts for everyday: slouchy, turtleneck, or ooo this drape.
- Jenni Kayne 20% off (almost) everything is here! While the core colors aren’t on sale, the seasonal ones are (and they’re pretty dang great). A quick hit list: Cashmere cardi (or in cropped), one of my fave purchases, ever: this top, + some of the most delicious cashmere I’ve ever worn: this crew.
- Evereve has everything on sale. Top picks: this cream barn coat, these leopard jeans with a great faded wash, this fair isle sweater, a Clare V. chocolate brown sweatshirt, these ballet flats in a great color for fall, and this moody floral dress.
- Okayyy, Loft. There’s some really cute pieces in this sale for work + life: this denim midi skirt (those seams), replace your fall blazer for work with this jacket, this relaxed sweater tee has such a great shape, this waffle-knit hoodie for lounging + running around, and casual Friday jeans for work — flared, utility or palazzo.
- Nordstrom sale section is pretty good right now. There’s a cool-girl rain jacket, my Levi’s in this wash + this wash, a pair of AGOLDE jeans with a great silhouette, this cozy crewneck, and…vests for fall? This one in blue, and this one that would make baggy jeans chic.
- adidas has up to 50% off. Still waiting for my SL 72 RS’s to hit the sale, but Amy’s SL 72 OG’s are on sale (she has the pretty blue).
- Parachute has 20% off $500 or 15% off $300+. Refresh your bedding with a cozy linen set. I swear by mine.
