In this era of low-key manicures, we get inordinately excited when a celebrity does anything other than nearly naked nails. (See: Us being thrilled to see French manicures with anything other than white tips.) So even when the nail art is relatively simple, we’re celebrating—especially when it factors in more than one of the spring trends we’ve been eager to try, like Kylie Jenner is so expertly exemplifying with her latest mani.
The makeup mogul has spent the last few days posting photos from what appears to be an enviable island vacation, but now that she’s back home, it was obviously time to switch up her set.
Jenner posted a boomerang to her Instagram stories showing off her sweet new nail art from go-to manicurist Zola Ganzorigt. “Hello cute spring nails,” she wrote over the clip. (Accurate.) And yes, while the base on her oval nails is a nude pink, as so many celebrity manicures seem to be these days, there are also two key trends that make it a noticeable departure from plainer looks.
Ganzorigt looked to the gem nail trend, using multicolored stones. But instead of evenly distributing them, for a bedazzled effect, she shaped them into sweet little flowers—another major manicure moment this season.

One of our favorite things about this kind of nail art is that the three-dimensional effect is very DIY-friendly. Instead of requiring a steady hand for painting on flowers, you simply have to place five gems in a little circle. It looks so cute in a number of color combinations, not to mention with faceted or smooth stones.
