This Iced White Chocolate Mocha recipe is one of my favorites for summer. It’s just too warm for hot coffee, and this iced drink is sweet, delicious, and refreshing. And since it’s so easy to make and prep ahead, you can enjoy it any time of the day. It tastes just like Starbucks’ iced white chocolate mocha.

  • White chocolate powder- You can also use white chocolate sauce. This adds the chocolatey flavor to this yummy Starbucks copycat drink.
  • Milk- Using whole milk will give it lots of rich and creamy flavor, but you can use another type of milk.
  • Ice- Any ice works, but the smaller the pieces, the quicker they will melt.
  • Whipped cream- This is optional, but a dollop on top of your iced mocha makes it a real treat.

  • Substitute coffee for the espresso- If you haven’t got an espresso machine, then you can use cold brew coffee or instant coffee. You can use 1-3 teaspoons of instant coffee for 1 oz. of espresso.
  • Make it lighter- Using lower fat milks, like skim milk, 1%, or 2% milk, will make this drink a little lighter. Keep in mind, this does reduce some of the richness.
  • Make it dairy-free- You can use a dairy-free white chocolate powder and sub a plant-based milk for the4 regular milk, such as soy milk, almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
  • Make it decaf- If you want to enjoy this latte later in the day, substitute decaf espresso in this mocha to avoid the caffeine (though there is a small amount in decaf).

  • Combine the chocolate and espresso. Mix the white chocolate powder or white chocolate sauce with 1 shot of espresso.
  • Mix thoroughly. Give it a good thorough stir to ensure that the sugar granules have dissolved.
