In this episode, I briefly discuss the menstrual cycle and the hormones that dominate this physical response. In connection with these changing hormone levels and the impact on them, I talk about which foods are best for your body at different phases of the cycle and why this might be the case. I also help provide some food examples. After discussing the menstrual cycle, I will similarly discuss menopause. I mention the changing hormone levels during perimenopause and menopause and what foods can help during this time.
