Healthywomen declaration to replace all ACIP members for the HHS replacement

Healthywomen shares the concerns of the leading medical associations and organizations of public healthcare on the recent decision of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to dismiss all 17 -seated members of the advisory committee for immunization practices (ACIP) who advises the CDC when using vaccines in the USA

The ACIP is a group of unpaid experts who give recommendations for the best use of research results for the benefit of the vaccine for the benefit of public health. The committee has served as a trustworthy national source of data -controlled advice on the use of vaccines to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases for decades.

The ACIP recommendations are instructed by health service providers, public health civil servants, community managers and families. Their decisions also influence which vaccines are covered by the insurance, which largely determines the patient’s access.

We are now asking the government to maintain a scientifically based process with the ACIP in order to determine the best possible use of vaccinations. We support decisions that promote trust and trust in evidence -based, patient -oriented public health practices for the use of vaccines.

We renew our call to reverse the decision on Covid 19 vaccines during pregnancy, as described in our latest explanation. As always, we recommend talking to your doctor or health service provider about health decisions.

Further perspectives can be found under the sound alarm after ACIP members have been removed on the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) on the National Foundation website.
