From forest fires to ice attacks, La Latines fight back again and again

Five months ago, Mexican firefighters hurried to Los Angeles to keep the city from burning on the ground. Before there was even time to process or heal from this trauma, the US immigration and customs authority (ICE) is aimed at undocumented immigrants with brutal raids. Since Friday, June 6th, the organization has violently confiscated 330 people. Immigrants live in fear – to appear in graduates, churches, grocery stores and their jobs. Of course, this fear is not new, but is currently being increased in a cruel way. It feels like there is no safe space. To make things worse, we see how it makes it impossible to avoid it in real time with every video, every post and every update with social media. The cycle not only takes place once, it replicates and returns us every time.
