[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I nearly gave myself one for the blooper reel when I filmed this product for Instagram. I had all the weeks’ products laid out to photograph and when I opened this kit, I thought that three items fell out of the tissue paper – two lip products and a blusher brush. I just felt that it was super random to include a brush in a lip kit and also that they’d completely ripped off a Chanel brush. I just carried on taking pictures until I thought to look at the bottom of the brush – and sure enough, there was the double C logo. Somehow, I’d scooped it up as part of the set. Anyway, whew that reel never got made.
The shade of the Gloss Bomb Stix is Fenty Glow – a toffee-ish colour that aligns perfectly with the Trace’d Out lip liner, called Extra Thigh (ew). It’s not really a shade I’d generally wear and I almost never wear a lip liner but I went full on with testing both to see how it looked.
I think it looks great! It’s glossy, comfortable in the wear (I don’t much like the taste) and this set has made me understand why some people love this look so much. It’s a very definite lip look – not going outright say an ‘influencer’ look but you know, if the cap fits. It’s more expensive on the Fenty website HERE than it is at Boots and I can’t really understand the discrepancy but on Fenty the Glow’n Extra set is £37 and at Boots it’s £24 HERE. Worth taking a look on Fenty however because there are various discounts across all categories.
