Delilah Beauty Heroes Collection | British Beauty Blogger

[unpaid/sample] You can’t go too far wrong with Delilah, a homegrown beauty brand that I’ve been a fan of for years. I remember them at the very beginning. They’re ten this year so this three piece Beauty Heroes set is something of a marker of how far they’ve come in a decade, featuring Lip Saviour, a ‘colour enhancing’ lip oil for a minimally-more-than-moist lip look, their retractable Brow Line brow pencil and the Underwear skin primer. In a nutshell, the foundations of a perfected look.

If I can describe Delilah in any particular way it would be as ‘make up for grown ups’. They don’t bring out a lot of new products and the ones that they do are always thoughtful and considered. I’d suggest this set (which is value set at £45 with £71 value) as a foolproof girlfriend gift. It’s actually quite hard to buy make up for other people – we get set in our ways, right?! – but because the contents are suit-all, you’re providing an excellent base for whatever else anyone would like to add afterwards.

The brow liner is a mid-brown so good for most brows and the Lip Saviour gives just a tiny hint of pH driven colour with plenty of lip conditioning. The primer is hydrating and smoothing so a great base for foundation, tinted moisturiser or self tan. Easy win in my book. Delilah also make one of my all time favourite lip glosses – Amalie – seem below in front of their Stay The Night Smooth Shadow Stick collection (£42).
