Curated Cutting at Home: Introducing Streaming Classes

One of the most exciting things Curated Cutting has been working on is making education more accessible. We’re now offering a collection of streaming classes that bring Anh Co Tran’s dry-cutting approach directly to your screen, so you can learn on your own time, in your own space.

These are pre-recorded, self-paced sessions built around a modular approach to dry cutting, combining classic cutting techniques with modern, lived-in results. To keep learning flexible, each class can be rented or purchased. You can also purchase or rent the class in a bundle of all four classes. Renting gives you seven days of streaming access, while buying provides lifetime, unlimited streaming access, so you can return to the material whenever you need.

The collection focuses on four haircuts that continue to define Lived-in Hair, each one highlighting different ways to create movement, softness, and balance through dry cutting.

Britney’s Long Shag

This class explores a long shag that feels light, airy, and fluid. The focus is on creating movement using concave layers and thoughtful point cutting to enhance natural texture. It’s a great study in face framing, softness, and maintaining length while still achieving flow.

Carachele’s Bob

This session breaks down how to build a strong baseline and then soften and tailor the shape through undercutting and deep point cutting. The result is a bob that feels clean and intentional, yet still lived-in and adaptable to different face shapes and hairlines.

Hannah’s Short Bob

This class is all about versatility in shorter lengths. You’ll see how weight is released and bulk is reduced using freehand and square cutting techniques, allowing the cut to move naturally while maintaining structure. There’s also a strong focus on fringe work and refining details through blending and dusting.

Natty’s Soft Shag

A modern take on the shag, this class focuses on creating a weightless, textured shape that works across different head shapes. Techniques center on cutting short to long, removing excess weight, and using face-framing to bring softness and balance to the overall silhouette.

What makes this format exciting is the flexibility. These classes are available to stream, making it easier than ever to learn without travel, schedules, or time zones. All you need is your tools, a strong internet connection, and the time to focus.
