Seamless Clip-Ins 101
Our Seamless Clip-Ins are made from pro-grade and are the ideal way to add volume and/or length to your hair. The Seamless Collection comes with 10 wefts (pieces) that can easily be clipped in and removed from your natural hair.

Because our Seamless Clip-Ins are made with a silicone-based weft that lays flat against the scalp, you get the benefit of extra volume without it feeling too heavy or like it is going to weigh you down.
Best for Thinner Hair Types
The ar with thin hair types is that the extensions will feel too much or that they’ll show through. But not with these Seamless extensions. Because of the way they’re manufactured, they’re far less noticeable in thinner hair types. You can thank the silicone-based wefts for this again.
Can Be Styled Like Your Own Hair
After you clip them in, they can be styled in sleek strands, wavy hair, or curly ringlets. They’re ideal for half-up styles as well, which makes them a great way to hide second-day hair.
Step 1: Brush it out
Start by brushing both your hair and the extensions. We recommend our Luxy Detangling Wet Hairbrush, though you can use a brush or wide-tooth comb of your preference. We also recommend The Get Ready With Me Set, which features everything you need to style and insert your clip-ins in a stylish case.
Step 2: Section your hair
Separate a straight, thin section of hair at the nape of your neck, and clip the rest of your hair away using our Coastal Shell Claw Clip.
Step 3: Clip in the wefts
Unsnap the 4-clip weft, then secure it by snapping it onto your roots. Do the same thing with a 3-clip weft next.
Step 4: Move on down
Let some hair down, then take the 4-clip weft (unclipping it first) and secure the clips onto your roots at ear level. Let more hair down again. Grab a second 3-clip weft, placing it below your crown, about an inch above the previous weft.
Step 5: Get into the details
Secure a 2-clip weft at each temple, about two inches above your ear. Add extra fullness at the front with 1-clip wefts on each side.

What lengths do you offer, and what do they look like on?
Seamless hair extensions are available in 12”, 16”, 20”, and 24” lengths. The shortest option, 12”, blends well with shorter hair lengths, yet still gives it volume. The 16” option adds volume from mid-length to ends. The 20” option is our most popular, offering ideal volume and length for many. The 24” option is our longest length to provide, well, length.
What is the difference between Classic and Seamless hair extensions?
The biggest difference between Classic and Seamless hair extensions is how they’re manufactured. Classic Clip-Ins are made with a fabric-stitched weft, whereas Seamless Clip-Ins are made with a thin silicone-weft base that lays flat against your head.

Can I curl and straighten my hair extensions?
Just like your own hair, Seamless extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled, and curled. To preserve and extend the lifespan of your Luxy Hair extensions, however, we suggest always using a heat protectant spray prior to styling.
Additionally, we recommend only using a low heat setting of 120° C/250°F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don’t get that sort of constant nutrition.
How do I care for my extensions?
Creating a good routine with your Luxy Hair extensions from the start will help prolong their lifespan. Because they are made from 100% human hair, they can be styled and , just be sure to use a sulfate-free shampoo like our Charcoal Detox Shampoo. However, the more you wash and heat style your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be, so try to keep washing and product use to a minimum.
Keep in mind that unlike your own hair, which receives natural hydration from the oils on your scalp, hair extensions don’t have a natural hydration source.
