I really like the bag charm trend. This was definitely a thing when I was fresh out of college, so it feels a little nostalgic to me, in a good way. Unlike crop tops and super low-rise jeans, I can pull this one off! Nostalgia aside, bag charms are a great way to add a little personality to a more classic tote or cross-body bag. Below are some of my favorites, along with a few bags that I think are perfect for accessorizing.
The best Bag charms
To me, the recipe for accessorizing your bag is this: one large “anchor” charm, plus a mix of chains, paracord, and beads. As with everything, you can do a little or really pile them on for a maximalist look. A few of the charms below will do all the work for you, or you can have fun mixing and matching to find your own perfect custom combo.
P.S. If you’re game to DIY this, this kit from BaubleBar is a lot of fun. I bought it for my niece; we are planning to make them together next time I babysit. These kits from Ariel Gordon and HonestlyWTF also look really cool! Would make for a delightful crafternoon with girlfriends.
