I’m receiving a huge number of questions about America’s attack on Iran and what is happening right now so I thought I would dive in and speak about America’s and Trump’s charts. This is a fast written, no frills update to get some facts down on paper. There is SO much more to say here and some of this I have already covered in monthly videos on YouTube along with articles on my Substack and Patreon weekly forecast. I’m going to start with something I talked about in my weekly forecast posted on June 1, 2025.
That week had the Last Quarter Moon on the Sabian symbol ‘A Powerful Statesman Overcomes A State Of Political Hysteria.’ When I saw that symbol, I was compelled to speak about something else I had noted in the chart for that week – a combination of the Sun conjunct asteroid America and then Uranus conjunct asteroid Apollo. I am putting the transcript in its entirety here so that you can see how the story of where we are now was already coming into play.
From the transcript…On the seventh of June. I’m just noting that the sun is going to be conjunct asteroid America. So obviously, asteroid America speaks of America. And then there’s also going to be a conjunction between Uranus and the sun god [asteroid] Apollo. So, we’ve got the Sun and America, and then we’ve got this sun god with Uranus.
So asteroid Apollo is an interesting one, because it can speak of where we do things really, really well and natural talents. And it has a lot of the attributes of the sun, because Apollo is a sun god. Sometimes there’s musical talent. But Apollo can also speak of people who are a little arrogant, quite egocentric, and with Uranus involved, it can talk of unpredictable behaviour that is ego driven. Now, of course, there’s always a positive and we’ve got the idea of Apollo being brilliant at all different kinds of things, and Uranus is a breakthrough. Uranus is also brilliant and genius. So yes, we could have a genius energy also in play. But I’m just mindful of some of the things that are building up at the moment, the tensions between America and Russia, for example. And I’m also mindful of how Uranus, in Trump’s chart currently, is starting to work towards that square between his ascendant and his descendant. So, he’s already started doing that ‘You’re crazy. Everybody else is crazy. It’s them, it’s their fault. They’re just stupid!’ He’s doing a lot of that – calling Putin completely crazy, for example. That is an example of Uranus square to the Ascendant-Descendant. And that is going to be building up because Mars is also going to trigger that [on June 16/17].
So basically, the first two and a half weeks of June, Trump’s chart is going to be particularly active with Uranus and also with Mars. I’ll talk a bit more about it in the weekly post as well. But I’m just seeing these patterns with Sun conjunct America, Uranus conjunct Apollo, and just thinking about how that translates to his chart. Obviously, he’s not the only person in the world. He’s not the only leader in the world. But he is in charge of the biggest and most powerful country in the world. And what happens there happens everywhere. It has repercussions everywhere.
So, the scene was set a couple of weeks ago. Coming to right now, in the U.S. country chart, progressed Jupiter, the greatest of the Gods, is about to station direct on July 23 this year (2025). It’s been in retrograde motion since 1905, the year of the Russian revolution, and so this is a big (should I say bigly?) deal! Any time a progressed planet stations, it’s a turnaround year (this goes for natal astrology as well as mundane astrology). It’s perhaps this stationing Jupiter influence that brought us the ‘make America great again’ campaign slogan given that Jupiter is the biggest planet, the greatest God, the one that demands to be looked up to. Jupiter can certainly bring benefits, after all it is the benefic, but in shadow it can speak of excess. This ‘turn around’ is happening in the U.S. natal 8th house, a house associated with shared resources and power.
Also notable in the U.S. chart, is the transit of the South Node to Neptune which was exact on June 21, 2025! In other words, this hugely significant event of America bombing nuclear facilities in Iran, is wrapped up with old karma around idealism and the American dream – as well as perhaps the longing to be seen as some kind of saviour. And then there’s the fact that astrologically, Neptune rules oil and oil wells/fields so…there’s that! Oh, now I’m thinking of Neptune as the ruler of the oceans and how this conflict may affect the Strait of Hormuz. It’s described as the lifeline of global energy as it is deep enough to carry oil tankers and one of the major shipping lanes to move oil around the world.
Uranus by transit is now at 29 Taurus. I already discussed this in my June forecast on YouTube how it makes for critical issues again connected to resources. Finances, stocks and shares and digital money can all be affected by this influence. Anaretic degrees are connected with being in no man’s land. Anaretic is rooted in the word for ‘destroyer’. Specifically, 29 Taurus is known as ‘the weeping sisters’ degree – a story of loss and sadness as the sisters weep for the loss of their father. I also can’t ignore the fact that the target for the U.S. attack on Iran was enriched Uranium stores which were stashed deep underground – apparently.
In Trump’s chart, he has 29 Leo rising, putting all his house cusps on critical degrees (if you use Equal house as I do). We’ve just had Mars square Uranus, activating this critical energy. It especially speaks of surprise (Uranus) attacks (Mars.). Note that the surprise attack on Iran by Israel was named Operation Rising Lion!!! For anyone who doesn’t understand my exclamation gasp, the Ascendant is also called the rising sign and Leo is symbolised by the Lion. Mars in Trump’s 1st house by transit means he wants to be seen as the aggressor, he wants to push for things to go his way, he’s not going to stand back. Mars is now in Virgo – a sign associated with service…and the services such as the military. Also notable is that Trump’s progressed Midheaven is about to conjoin his natal Pluto in glory-seeking Leo – again the lion, giving it another reference to the Israel-Iran conflict. The exact conjunction is July 2. The MC is about aspirations. Pluto is about power. No wonder he wanted a display of power with that parade!!!
Trump will have Uranus entering his 10th house of profession and reputation on July 6. It’s a whole lot more of ‘expect the unexpected’ energy. But it will bring changes directly to his table, rebellion, revolution – especially as Uranus is now squaring his Ascendant-Descendant. It speaks of sudden splits in relationships. We saw the beginnings of this when Elon and Trump fell out. The big Jupiter in Gemini bromance burned out when Venus anaretic in Aries formed a sextile to Jupiter anaretic in Gemini. Elon stormed off (where DID he get that black eye I wonder) and then trashed Trump online, revealing that Trump is named in the Epstein files – shocker. Uranus entering Trump’s 10th house on July 6 may bring revolutionary energies in play. We might not know what he’s going to do next but he may be caught by surprise as well. We also need to be mindful that the Uranus ingress into Gemini on July 7 will possibly flag up communication issues, network issues, ties being severed (or cables?), new ties formed. I should also mention here that the United States will also begin its Uranus return, exact 2027 – 2028 which is also revolutionary change.
Now, also in America’s chart, the building Saturn-Neptune conjunction (exact February 20, 2026) is happening at the very base of America’s chart – right on the IC. The IC is the root, the foundation. Authoritarianism and Fascism (Saturn), dissolution and disillusion (Neptune). Neptune in Aries alone by the way is linked to war, as this was the placement when the American civil war happened. Most astrologers, including myself have talked extensively of how Neptune in Aries is connected to war given the idealisation of the warrior archetype and the washing away of individual wants or needs. Saturn in Aries, I have dubbed, ‘the trouble with leaders’ – especially old (Saturn) men (Aries)!
Anyway, with Saturn and Neptune at the very root of the U.S. chart right now, it feels like the entire constitution is being dismantled from the bottom up. Saturn completes its journey to this point in February next year and then Neptune follows shortly afterwards in March 2026 – dates below. There will be other factors coming into play, but I just wanted to point out these dates for reference as these mark the most critical periods. Also pay attention to July 7 as this is when the transiting Sun will conjoin the U.S. progressed Jupiter as it stations, putting this giant in the spotlight. Jupiter rules the U.S. Ascendant and the natal 4th house as co-ruler of Pisces. It suggests that this turnaround year will affect the country’s outlook and how they are seen by others in very direct ways that will have a strong influence on the land and its peoples.
