At this point in the season, my winter wardrobe is craving a bit of a refresh. The original excitement over cold-weather gear has begun to wear off, and I’m at a loss for new ways to style my default jeans-and-a-sweater combinations. Seeing as though I’ve just spent my last hard-earned dollar (literally) wrapping up the finishing touches on the holiday season, if I plan on sprucing up my winter wardrobe, I’ll have to shop with a budget and a little bit of strategy.
This Baggy Dad style from Levi’s is a tried-and-true favorite our team swears by, made famous by an effortlessly cool fit and PJ-like comfort.
Of course, shopping on a budget doesn’t mean that I’ll need to forgo all sense of intentionality. Thanks to a handful of continued holiday sales and my insider list of accessible retailers (perks of the job), I can still afford to shop consciously without breaking the bank. But rather than adding a handful of new basics to the mix, I’m looking for pieces that’ll take my everyday looks to the next level.
Being the picky (and professional) shopper that I am, I’ve sifted through hours of new arrivals and active sales to compile a list of 50 winter items under $100 that you won’t regret buying later. A word to the wise? Proceed with caution—these are hard to pass up.
